As introduced: - Establishes the Alabama Health Command as an independent state agency. - Requires the Command to designate a single, state-headquartered developer to create a uniform, virtual AI-assisted health platform for use in rural communities. - Specifies that the platform will provide health management services, such as wellness education and appointment scheduling, but is prohibited from providing medical diagnoses, treatments, or prescriptions. - Authorizes the Command to establish standards for the platform, including for patient privacy, data interoperability, and algorithm transparency. - Exempts rural health care providers and state health institutions that contract to use the platform from state competitive bid laws.
