As introduced: - Prohibits the distribution of AI-generated media that falsely depicts an individual saying or doing something they did not. - Establishes a violation as a Class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a Class D felony for a second or subsequent offense within five years. - Authorizes the depicted individual or the Attorney General to seek a permanent injunction to stop the distribution of the media. - Exempts media that includes a specified disclaimer, constitutes satire or parody, or is part of a news report that acknowledges questions about its authenticity.
