As introduced: - Requires operators of AI companions to implement a protocol to address a user expressing intent for self-harm or physical or financial harm to others, including by providing a referral to crisis services. - Requires a notification at the start of an interaction, and every three hours thereafter, stating that the AI companion is a computer program and not a human being. - Establishes a private right of action.
