As introduced: - Clarifies that health care provider malpractice liability includes negligently using, selecting, or implementing artificial intelligence or unduly, detrimentally, or erroneously relying on artificial intelligence in patient diagnosis, treatment, and care that directly causes or contributes to injury. - Extends the statute of limitations for medical malpractice claims to two years from discovery when the alleged negligence involves the use, selection, implementation, or undue reliance on artificial intelligence in patient diagnosis, treatment, and care.
