As introduced: - Prohibits developers from making or causing artificial intelligence to state or imply that it is a behavioral health care provider or is capable of providing behavioral health care. - Prohibits developers from offering artificial intelligence designed to provide a service that would constitute the practice of behavioral health care. - Requires artificial intelligence to provide a clear notice that the consumer is not communicating with a human and to include protocols to detect suicidal ideation and refer consumers to crisis services. - Authorizes the Attorney General to enforce these provisions and establishes a civil penalty of up to $1,000,000 per violation.
