As enrolled: - Appropriates $130 million for prison capacity expansion and funds various other state and higher education capital development projects. - Establishes and funds the Rural Health Transformation Program with over $195 million to be used by various agencies for projects related to rural healthcare, infrastructure, and education. - Appropriates significant funding to the Office of Homeless Services for emergency shelter, housing, and mental health services, contingent on a 1:1 funding match from local governments. - Appropriates $15 million for a dedicated artificial intelligence research data center. Appropriates $1.1 million to Weber State for a workforce development program to increase capacity in modern manufacturing technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence. - Appropriates $72.9 million for broadband. - Appropriates funds to the Department of Workforce Services general fund.
