As introduced: - Prohibits the state and political subdivisions from contracting for artificial intelligence technology with entities tied to specified foreign countries of concern. - Establishes parental consent requirements for minors to use "companion chatbots" and grants consenting parents specific controls over the account, including the ability to review interactions and set time limits. - Prohibits the unauthorized commercial use of a person's name, image, or likeness created by generative artificial intelligence and creates a private right of action for violations. - Requires operators of bots to disclose to a user at the beginning of an interaction and hourly thereafter that they are not interacting with a human. - Prohibits an artificial intelligence technology company from selling or disclosing a user's personal information unless the information is de-identified.
