As amended on 5/26/2026: - Prohibits chatbot operators from knowingly allowing a chatbot to impersonate a licensed professional, including doctors, lawyers, or other covered practitioners, in a manner that would constitute the unauthorized practice of a profession or law if done by a human. - Requires chatbot operators to clearly and conspicuously disclose that users are interacting with an AI chatbot. - The 5/26/2026 amendment removes the private right of action.
