Summary

As passed by the House on 6/10/2026: - Requires ticket resellers and online ticket marketplaces to display the full ticket price, including all mandatory fees except taxes and physical shipping costs, the first time a price is shown. - Requires ticket resellers and online marketplaces to prominently disclose that tickets are being resold, that resale prices may differ from original prices, that buyers should verify event changes or cancellations with the venue, and the seller's refund policy. - Requires providing provide proof of purchase within 24 hours. - Prohibits selling duplicate copies of the same ticket, prohibited ticket-buying schemes, sales without disclosing seat locations, and speculative ticket sales before obtaining possession of tickets or authorization from the venue. - Bans the use of automated software (bots) to circumvent security measures or purchase limits and prohibits the sale of any tickets obtained through such methods. - Prohibits online ticket resellers from using website addresses or branding that is deceptively similar to an official venue, artist, or event without permission. - Makes a violation of these provisions an unfair or deceptive act or practice enforceable by the attorney general.
