As introduced: - Requires artificial intelligence systems to be programmed to provide a distinctive watermark on any AI-generated product. Prohibits the distribution of an AI-generated product for public or commercial use without a watermark. - Requires clear and conspicuous disclosure to a user when an artificial intelligence system is acting as or emulating a human. - Authorizes the attorney general to investigate violations and seek injunctive relief and civil penalties of up to $10,000 per violation. - Creates a private right of action for a person to sue for damages resulting from a violation.
