As introduced: - Requires employers, when reporting a mass layoff, to disclose if it is substantially due to replacement or automation by artificial intelligence and to specify the number of employees affected. - Requires the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to include in any public report on mass layoffs the reason for the layoffs and whether the cause was substantially due to artificial intelligence.
