As introduced: - Prohibits the use or sale of an automated decision system for use in a consequential decision that produces algorithmic discrimination. - Requires a deployer to provide notice and certain disclosures to a consumer prior to the use of a system for a consequential decision with an opportunity to appeal a decision to human review. - Creates whistleblower protections. - Requires an independent audit every 18 months. Requires reporting requirements filed with the attorney general. - Requires a deployer to implement a risk management policy.
