As introduced: - Prohibits the fraudulent use of artificial intelligence or a deepfake representation to impersonate a person or create a false record with the intent to cause harm, defraud, mislead, or obtain a benefit. - Expands the crime of identity fraud to include utilizing an individual's personal identifying information with the intent to cause harm. - Creates a civil cause of action for victims of the prohibited use of AI or deepfake representations, allowing a court to issue an injunction or grant other relief.
