As amended on 3/18/2026: - Prohibits knowingly, willfully, and with fraudulent intent, using the personal identifying information of an individual without consent, in order to cause harm. - Prohibits knowingly and willfully assuming the identity of another, including a fictitious person, with fraudulent intent to harm, harass, intimidate, threaten, or coerce another person. - Prohibits using knowingly, willfully, and with fraudulent intent, artificial intelligence or a deepfake to cause harm to another by impersonating, falsely depicting, or claiming to represent that person to another person or create or distribute false records to cause harm, induce another person to provide personal identifying information, or obtain a thing of value. - Provides for criminal penalties and a private right of action.
