As introduced: - Requires public bodies to establish and implement policies for the use of artificial intelligence and automated decision tools. - Mandates that policies require a human employee to make the final consequential decision affecting education, employment, financial or lending services, housing, health care services, insurance, or legal services. - Requires state agencies to make their AI use policies available to the public upon request. - Requires public bodies to train employees on the policies for and appropriate use of artificial intelligence.
